The book contains reproductions of 45 book covers designed between 1914 and 1930 by famous Russian designers like Rodchenko, El Lissitzky, and Lavinsky. All covers were originally designed for books by Vladimir Mayakovsky, the legendary author and poet of the Russian Revolution. This book is entirely produced in letterpress printing, the same technique that was used in the early 20th Century to produce the original book covers featured in this edition.
