Born in 1925, graphic artist Hans Hillmann is one of the most important poster designers and illustrators. As a professor of graphic design, he helped launch the career of many designers over the course of his 30-year teaching career. His illustrations have been used for years by publishers and magazines (including FAZ magazine).
