Beginning in the mid-1960's and for the next thirty years, Vittorio was the king of poster art in Quebec and in Canada as a whole, where he also exhibited and won awards for his photographs, illustrations and comic strips. An artist with an innocent and often mischievous -- we might even say provocative -- approach, his playful, vividly colourful style stood out as evidence of his unrestrained and fresh creativity, a far cry from the prevailing design ideals of the time.
