The Festival catalogue is a project in its own right, a printed trace of one of the most important international events for the graphic design community. Chaumont has assembled and preserved an immense collection of contemporary posters, and designers from all over the world are invited to participate in the International Poster Competition organized each year since 1990. Much more than assembly of images, this publication documents the 2012 edition of the event through numerous outstanding examples of graphic design, from classic posters to contemporary works and competition entries, as well as texts from graphic designers and critics alike.
